August 2026 Residency Exhibition

In August 2026, Helen Stratford, Mariette Moor and Sophie Hoyle took part in residencies on Vital Capacities, exploring and developing new work with support from Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network, Wysing Arts Centre, and Arts Council England.

Across the residency, the artists explored experiences of illness, care and the body through drawing, writing, moving image, sound, performance and textiles. Their work considers language and silence, intimacy and scale, productivity and rest, and the ways bodies encounter domestic and public spaces. The resulting works are presented in this online exhibition.
